NASCAR POINT SPREAD PICKIN COMPETITION

RULES:  Pick which drivers you think will cover the assigned spread (a push is a win)

In the example:
Tony Stewart (-20)
vs.
Hermie Saddler (+18)

Tony Stewart is favored to beat Hermie by 20 places.
This means that if Tony finishes 1st, and Hermie finishes 30th, then Tony would have beaten Hermie by 29 places, thus he would cover, and if you had picked Tony, you would win.

If you were, however, to pick Hermie Saddler (+18) it would mean that Hermie would have to finish 18 or LESS places behind Tony.  If Hermie finished 14th and Tony finished 1st, Hermie would cover, and if you had picked him, you would win.

In some instances you will have a set of drivers who both have a (-1).  That means whichever one you pick has to finish in front of the other one.
